part of this task required both me and my roomate each drink the better part of a fifth of belgian beer (for the yeast at the bottom).
also, i crushed grapes (wrapped in tea towels) and dates, for whatever yeast
might be growing on the skins and for the sugar therein.
i heated 2.5 gallons of water, terbonado sugar and king arthur flour to 120f.
later, i added another cup of some kind of specialty flour that i got instead
of semolina (oops), because, fuck it.
so i have now 3.75 ga B/V of starter slowly rotting next to the sink. we'll
see how things go in the next couple days ;)
