to me, fanaticism is the blind, pathological ignorance of real-world facts, reality. this same dangerous ideology makes men pulverize themselves at 580 miles per hour piloting an airplane into a tower, and it also causes some men to attempt to take over a muslim nation of 27 million with a force of 150,000 18 and 19 year olds who cannot even say "hello" in arabic.
